About Sharing Circle

The Sharing Circle is a group of local voluntary and community run organisations that collaborate to share resources, thereby reducing unnecessary expense.

The Sharing Circle promotes a circular economy by reducing the need to buy infrequently used items like catering equipment, gardening tools, gazebos, tables, and chairs. Sharing helps decrease waste, lower carbon emissions, and lessen the environmental impact of new product production.

The webpage lists items available for borrowing or loaning within the local community, helping to minimise waste, share resources, and reduce costs for organisations.

The Sharing Circle webpage is a resource to connect groups needing items with those willing to share. Sharing Circle does not insure or indemnify the items being shared; it is the responsibility of borrowers and lenders to decide on transfer methods and compensation if the items are lost, stolen, or damaged.

The Sharing Circle webpage was the idea of the Sustainability Action Group of the Denham, Gerrards Cross & The Chalfonts Community Board, and its development was funded by the Board.
